The creation of Don Wetzel, Jr. by way of many mentors, knowledge keepers, ancestors, and intelligent leaders, IDENTITY INC. has been created to change mindsets and understand we must do something different. We must look at the placed-based knowledge and connection of our indigenous teachings to benefit the wellbeing of our people and communities. We meet people and communities where they are by understanding the issues, but not dwelling on them. Upstream approaches and wall breakage is important because we tap into the strength and beauty of people. We build intrinsic skills within our children so they may become the best humans they can. We have a number of relevant learning opportunities and leadership initiatives centered in self-actualization and rooted in identity to help nurture our youth to be successful in whatever path they choose. Children have so much to offer to the world - we get them to the table, listen to them, enhance the power they hold, and trust that they will mold a better future. We bring action-oriented activities and initiatives with a focus on consistent messaging and follow up with all plans and approaches. Rubber to the Road is a lost art in today's world of "fake work" and over meeting. We develop strategic planning and intrinsic youth development strategies to better our youth at their core. Problem solving development and belief systems can go a long way for the betterment of our future. The Youth of today see the world differently and sometimes the adults need to get out of the way and let them lead!
